2 Week Birthday!

Another very busy week as you can see from the pictures! I got my crib this week and I think it's going to take some time to fill it out, but I will do my best! As you can see, I posed for some boudoir diaper shots and I think they came out quite well. Losing my umbilical cord was a major improvement for my abdominals. My favorite outfit by far is my rocket pjs and I spend many hours dreaming about future space travel. I hope to help build the first space hotel on Mars and eat lots of space ice cream. I ended my second week of life hanging out in the living room and sampling the new Vampire Weekend album. I like the Horchata song. It's upbeat and sassy, just like me. My dad went back to work this week and so I'm pretty bummed about that. My mom is doing okay on her own but I know she misses dad too.

Hanging Out With Hadley

Today I got to meet a very special lady, Hadley Riesmeyer! She's a cougar, being two and a half weeks older than me. I got all bathed and put on a special outfit to go over to her house. She invited me onto her playmat and I gladly accepted. I was so nervous, I needed my diaper changed 4 times (I get that from my dad). I look forward to many more special times with this beautiful girl with the big blue (for now) eyes!

My First Week

My first week of life was a busy one. After beating up on my mom for 12 hours, I burst onto the scene last Tuesday. I met my family, a four legged furry thing that hates me and is referred to as "my sister," discovered my home, celebrated my first Valentine's Day (what up Hadley R.!)and had two doctors' appointments. I've been a perfect angel for my parents all week. I celebrated my first week birthday by pounding milk and then promptly peeing all over my dad's favorite sweater. I'm off to hit the bar again, but for now enjoy these sweet pics of my mug.

Meeting the Grandparents

Upon my return from the hospital, all of my grandparents were here to meet me! Momo made it in from Ohio just before the storm and Grandma made it from California on Thursday. The two of them made sure that I was dressed in lots of handsome newborn BOY clothes and stocked the fridge with lots of yummy food. My Papa and Poppie arrived shortly thereafter and shoveled out the rest of the snow so I could make it safely to my circumcision, which went pretty well by the way...a shout out to Vaseline and the makers of gauze! I enjoyed being held by each of them all weekend. I look forward to learning everything they have to teach me and being spoiled rotten for years to come!

Introducing Levi

Erinn and Daniel proudly welcomed Levi Joseph Zeitlin into the world on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 12:18 pm in Rockville, MD. Levi demonstrated his remarkable intellect when he decided to arrive early just before the second historic snow storm in a matter of days hit the region. He then demonstrated his unmatched strength, weighing in at a muscular 8.2 pounds and measuing 19.25 inches. Mom and Dad could not be more happy and excited to have this beautiful new addition to the family.
