Six Weeks and Still Sexy

Thank you. Thank you all. Wow, I just never really imagined I'd be here. Wow, six weeks and still sexy. What a thrill. Rolling over, grasping rattles and smiling. I've arrived. Well, first I'd like to thank my Grandma and Poppie and my Momo and Papa for being their from day one. I couldn't have made it without you, through the happy times and the fussbucket times. And of course, I've got to send some love to my Aunt K and Uncle J, as well as Aunt Lorie, you guys have always been there for me, from the late night milk parties to the early morning scream sessions and diaper changes. And, Sasha, I've got nothing but love for you. To all my hommies, you da men, Callum, Otto and Jackson. And, to the ladies, Hadley, Maggie, Emma and Jordan, I love you all. You some fly cougars. Oh, oh, they're starting the music. Who am I forgetting. I know I'm forgetting someone. Um, um, oh, oh yeah, Mom and Dad, I wouldn't be here without you. Feels great to be six weeks and still sexy!

A Little Southern Comfort

After a brief hiatus where I was in the studio spinning sweet beats, DJ LJ is back and psyched to hear that I can be on my parent's health insurance plan until I'm 26! Since my Aunt Lorie was unable to make it from Louisville for my birth due to the snowpocalype, she made a special trip last week, leaving my cousins for probably the first time ever. (What up Coleman, go Cats!) We hit the posh enclave of Georgetown going storefront to storefront. My aunt dropped the Benjamins while my mom was dropping Washingtons like she was a Red Coat. Dollar, dollar bill ya'll! Speaking of red coats, I got some sweet summer gear from my Aunt Lorie. My aunt remarked that I was the best man she'd ever been shopping with, although I did need a few changes in the dressing room at Anthropologie. I can't wait to see you again Aunt Lorie and meet the rest of my family in the Bluegrass state!

West Side Connection

This week I got a visit from my west side peeps, Aunt K and Uncle J. After withstanding the snow and cold for the first weeks of my life, I was excited that they brought the Cali weather with them. We took advantage and went to the zoo and for a walk around the National Mall. I learned a new word, "lame," after we visited the zoo and only saw an Emu and a Mongolian horse. That said, there were a ton of kids there as tired and disheveled looking parents like mine were desperate to get out of the house. Sasha really liked going to the Mall, but I slept through most of it. I guess I just don't get it. Anyway, it was great to meet my Aunt K and Uncle J. I'm psyched to have my Aunt K's pinkie toe and I hope to inherit her warm personality. I'm also hopeful that I will inherit my Uncle J's cool hair and musical talent.

Week 3- The Arrival of Crabby McFussbucket

I entered week 3 of my life with a hunger as strong as someone in the 23rd hour of Yom Kippur! In order to let my family know how absolutely starving I am, I screamed like my dad after a Lebron James dunk and cried like my mom does at the end of King Kong.

My sudden change in behavior led to a new nickname. I am now to be known as Crabby McFussbucket. Prince McFussbucket enjoys getting ready to watch the sunrise an hour and a half early. Prince McFussbucket adds his own special blend of stadium mustard to his All-Star baseball pj's.

In other news, after two hours of a nude photo shoot late Monday night, my alter ego Levi Jose went up to University Avenue, stopped by the cambio and got a pollo sandwich Burger King.

During my calm time this week, I had several visitors including Michelle and Dave, Marcie, and my new friend Otto! Here are some picture highlights of week 3!
